3 Sit the exam via PECB Exams

Enter the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam at the date, time, and location most convenient for you. The exam covers six competency domains.

4 Apply for your credential

After passing, apply for the credential that matches your experience — from Provisional Implementer through Senior Lead Implementer — and sign the PECB Code of Ethics.

5 Retake free if needed

If you don't pass the first time, you're eligible for one free retake within 12 months of your initial exam date.

Examination

The PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam meets all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements and covers six competency domains:

Domain 1 — Fundamental principles and concepts of an AIMS

Domain 2 — AI management system requirements

Domain 3 — Planning an AIMS implementation based on ISO/IEC 42001

Domain 4 — Implementation of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001

Domain 5 — Monitoring and measurement of an AIMS

Domain 6 — Continual improvement and certification-audit preparation

Certification & Credential Ladder

After passing the exam you can apply for one of the credentials below. You receive the certificate once you meet all requirements for the credential you select. All credentials require signing the PECB Code of Ethics.
