3 Sit the exam via PECB Exams

Enter the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam at the date, time, and location most convenient for you. The exam covers six competency domains.

4 Apply for your credential

After passing, apply for the credential that matches your experience — from Provisional Implementer through Senior Lead Implementer — and sign the PECB Code of Ethics.

5 Retake free if needed

If you don't pass the first time, you're eligible for one free retake within 12 months of your initial exam date.

Examination

The PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam meets all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements and covers six competency domains:

Domain 2 — AI management system requirements

Domain 3 — Planning an AIMS implementation based on ISO/IEC 42001
