The course runs across 13 sections spanning two training days — from AI fundamentals and the standard's framework through the full AIMS lifecycle and the certificate exam.

Work through all 13 video sections and subsections on the myPECB platform, at your own pace, with quizzes and editable materials throughout.
Use the video content plus the day-structured course materials and exercises — with unlimited 24/7 access.
Enter the PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam at the date, time, and location most convenient for you. The exam covers two competency domains.
After passing, apply for the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation credential and sign the PECB Code of Ethics. No prior experience is required.
If you don't pass the first time, you're eligible for one free retake within 12 months of your initial attempt.
The PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) and covers two competency domains:
Domain 1 — Introduction to AI management systems (AIMS) and ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 2 — AI management system (AIMS) and certificate exam
After passing the exam you can apply for the credential below. You receive the certificate once you meet all its requirements, including signing the PECB Code of Ethics.
